As such, it is perfectly located as a starting point for the holidaymaker who really wants to make the most of their stay in Blackpool.

The apartments are only a stone’s throw from the beach and yet still within minutes walking distance of the town centre and all its attractions – the bustling shopping malls, bars and restaurants, a choice of theatres for plays, musical performances and variety shows to suit every taste, three wonderful piers, each with its own fairgrounds, arcades and theatres, and of course the world-famous Tower.

But it doesn’t stop there, not by any means. For right outside the Lancaster you can hop on to one of the delightful trams that glide along the promenade between the sea-front hotels and the wide expanse of beaches, an area only recently refurbished to provide pleasant strolls along landscaped boulevards amidst manicured lawns and floral displays.

Just a few minutes’ tram ride further on brings you to the wonderful Pleasure Beach – probably the best self-contained and complete leisure attraction in the whole of Europe. It’s got absolutely everything for the whole family in one location and is definitely not to be missed.

These clean, comfortable apartments/flats have been run by the Brookes family for over four decades now. The present incumbents, John and Karen Brookes, are proud of the reputation the establishment enjoys and work diligently to maintain it. As John explains:

“We are first and foremost a safe, clean and carefree domicile for single people, couples and families. We will not accept block bookings for single-sex groups (the so-called ‘Stags and Hens’) under any circumstances.

“Our reception is open between 8.00am and 8.00pm every day to offer advice or assistance and there is always a member of the management team on the premises 24 hours a day, just in case of any problems.”
